There are many ways to use Falksalt Crystal Flakes sea salt. In fact, there are too many to describe them all. But, then again, Falksalt is not a recipe company. Instead, Falksalt want to be a inspirational product. We believe that, besides salt, inspiration is the most valuable ingredient in any kitchen.

Natural Sea Salt Flakes
Rub the corn in oil, finely chopped chili and salt flakes. Grill until it colours beautifully.
Mix 1 part balsamic vinegar with 3 parts olive oil. Season with flake salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Sprinkle fried or grilled asparagus with salt flakes.
Steam some broccoli and serve with butter and flake salt.
Dip strawberries half-way down into dark chocolate and top each strawberry with a flake of salt.
Boil new potatoes with some dill in unsalted water. Serve with butter and flake salt.
Black Sea Salt Flakes
Place a scoop of raspberry ice cream in a glass. Sprinkle with black salt flakes.
Place some brie on slices of baguette and bake at 200°C until golden brown. Top with a spoon of marmalade and sprinkle with a few black salt flakes.
Roll balls of curd cheese in chopped herbs and black salt flakes.
Toast baguette slices and spread with a thick layer of goat’s cheese. Top with runny honey, rocket, pine nuts and black salt flakes.
Make a pizza with tomato sauce and mozzarella. Once cooked, sprinkle with black salt flakes and rocket.
Serve poached eggs with melted butter, fresh herbs and black salt flakes.
Citron Sea Salt Flakes
Melt some chocolate and pour it onto a sheet of baking parchment. Sprinkle with pistachio nuts and citron flake salt. Leave to set in the fridge for 30 min.
Make a potato salad and season with lemon salt.
Sprinkle fried or poached salmon with citron flake salt before serving.
Deep fry asparagus and season with lemon salt.
Boil the rice without any salt and then sprinkle with shredded chives and citron flake salt.
Split a leek along its length and place on a sheet of aluminium foil. Sprinkle with lemon salt and add a few knobs of butter. Fold up into a parcel and pop onto the grill for around 5 minutes.
Rosemary Sea Salt Flakes
Season lamb chops with rosemary flake salt and freshly ground white pepper. Fry in butter in a hot pan.
Lemon Ice Cream
Fry shredded fennel for a minute in butter and a few pinches of sugar, serve warm with lemon ice cream topped with a few flakes of rosemary salt.
Boil some unsalted floury potatoes until soft. Mash well, adding a good knob of butter, some finely chopped garlic and some rosemary flake salt.
Halve the tomatoes, sprinkle with rosemary salt and drizzle with a good oil. Allow to marinate for 30 min at room temperature.
Mix boiled jasmine rice with Rosemary flake saltand shape into balls. Fry in plenty of butter.
Rub a whole chicken with lemon juice and rosemary salt. Place knobs of butter over the chicken. Roast at 175°C until the core temperature reaches at least 75°C.
Chili Sea Salt Flakes
Mix equal quantities of cocoa, sugar and milk in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and simmer for around 5 minutes. Season with a little chili flake salt to taste.
Add a small pinch of chili salt to the batter when making chocolate muffins.
Hull the nuts and rub them in a little oil. Toast in the oven at 175°C until lightly browned. Season with chili flake salt.
Remove the crusts from some sliced bread. Cut into cubes and toast in a dry frying pan. Season with a little chili salt. Equally good as a snack or in a salad.
Flavour natural yoghurt with chili flake salt, freshly squeezed lime juice and a little runny honey.
Sprinkle chili salt over fillets of plaice, roll up and secure with a cocktail stick. Poach in white wine and a little saffron until cooked.
Smoke Sea Salt Flakes
Season the mince with the smoked flake salt instead of ordinary salt.
Chop unsalted bacon and fry in a hot pan. Sprinkle with smoked salt.
Finely chop the tomatoes and add finely chopped garlic and chili. Season the salsa with smoked flake salt and lime juice.
Grill a pepper and top with oil and smoked salt.
Replace ordinary salt with smoked flake salt when cooking boiled potatoes.
Make your own mayonnaise and season with smoked salt.
Wild Garlic Sea Salt Flakes
Mix butter at room temperature with wild garlic flake salt. Spread on sliced bread and toast in the oven.
Season potato wedges with wild garlic salt and freshly ground white pepper.
Fry your favourite fish in butter. Top with a drizzle of oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice and wild garlic flake salt before serving.
Place freshly cooked asparagus on a plate. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with flake salt.
Fry the snails in butter. Season with wild garlic flake salt to taste.
Deep fry thin slices of parsnip and season with wild garlic salt.
Wild Mushroom Sea Salt Flakes
Boil the pasta in water seasoned with wild mushroom flake salt.
Rub the fillet with wild mushroom salt and freshly ground black pepper. Fry/grill to your liking.
Take some unsalted butter at room temperature and flavour it with wild mushroom flake salt and a few drops of white wine. Beat the butter with an electric whisk until pale and fluffy.
Flavour homemade pesto with wild mushroom salt.
Make scrambled egg seasoned with wild mushroom flake salt. Serve in an eggshell with strips of crispy bacon.
Make an omelette and top with wild mushroom salt and chopped fresh herbs.
Chipotle Sea Salt Flakes
Fry the eggs and finish with a little chipotle flake salt and a few splashes of Tabasco sauce.
Season the Bolognese sauce with
chipotle salt instead of ordinary salt.
Season freshly fried potatoes with chipotle flake salt and dress with a squeeze of lemon juice.
Sprinkle grated cheese onto slices of bread, season with chipotle salt and toast in the oven at 150°C until golden brown.
Rub the chicken in chipotle flake salt and freshly ground black pepper. Brown in a hot frying pan. Stir equal quantities of cream and water into the pan juices to make a sauce. Season with runny honey.
